Child Safety Standards
ChatGy is a strictly 18+ social and dating platform for adults. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out the standards ChatGy upholds to prevent, detect, and act on such content and conduct, in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applicable law.
1. Our standards against CSAE
- ChatGy prohibits any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits, or endangers a minor — including grooming, solicitation, and the creation, upload, sharing, or solicitation of CSAM — anywhere on the platform (profiles, photos, chat, Flashes, Sparks, and any other surface).
- ChatGy is for adults only. Accounts are restricted to users 18 years of age or older.
- Violations of these standards result in immediate removal of the content and account, and reporting to the relevant authorities where required by law.
2. Preventing access by minors
- Age gate at signup: every user must provide a date of birth, and anyone under 18 is blocked from creating an account.
- The app is rated and distributed as an adult (18+) experience.
3. Detecting and moderating content
- Every image — profile photos, chat photos, Flashes, and Sparks — is scanned by automated nudity and content detection before it is shown to other users.
- Text is screened for prohibited content.
- Content that cannot be cleared is held back from other users pending review. Confirmed violations are removed and the user is penalised up to a permanent ban.
4. Reporting concerns — in app and by email
- In the app: every profile, Flash, and Spark can be reported in two taps, and any user can be blocked instantly. The in-app Help & Support section also lets users raise a safety concern directly.
- By email: anyone — including non-users — can report a child-safety concern to our safety team at safety@chatgy.in.
- Reports involving minors or CSAM are prioritised and escalated to human review immediately.
5. Addressing CSAM and our legal duty
- When CSAM is identified, ChatGy removes it, disables the responsible account, preserves relevant information as required, and reports to the appropriate authorities and child-safety bodies in accordance with applicable law.
- ChatGy complies with all applicable child-safety laws and regulations.
